European Train Control System - ETCS

The Society's Annual General Meeting will be followed by a talk on the Evolution of the European Train Control System (ETCS). The Digital Railway initiative is undertaking the deployment of the European Rail Traffic Management System across the UK network in the coming decades. Since the start of the Cambrian project in 2006, the industry has made great steps in refining ETCS technology and understanding its deployment.
